A huge increase in the median sale price for Washington DC real estate last month. The median sale price jumped up 12.53% over April 2011. Properties were selling in an average of 67, but nearly HALF of all of the 586 sales were in the first 2 weeks the property was on the market, property because inventory levels were down over 30%. Properties were selling for an average of 95.8% of original list price.
