There’s been some building going on the past few months of new properties and looks like that will continue over the next few months as well.
Clarendon 3131 located on 3131 9th Rd N., just a block from the Phoenix has finally released some of their units for sale. The building is small – 14 condo units – all 2 bedroom or 2 bedroom + plus condo units, and 2 townhomes (one on either end of the condos). The boutique building has fewer amenities than The Phoenix so their condo fees are lower.

Construction that should be starting soon will be that patch on the corner of 3rd St N. and Washington Blvd. The land sold for $942,500 and is permitted for 3 houses to be added to Lyon Park. Here’s the Google street view of the current location:
New construction and increases in building permits are great indicators of how the market is doing. When things are getting stronger, permits increase. New construction and permits nearly died when we started the recession, so it’s great to see things picking up!
