Falls Church City Sees Double Digit Price Increase in December 2010

Wrapping up December 2010 for Falls Church with 101 sales. Of those sales, 10 were short sales, 13 were foreclosures, making 22.7% of the market distressed. The high portion of foreclosures undoubtedly contributed to some price drops in certain property types, but overall, Falls Church City saw a median sales price increase of 24.5% in December, while days on the market dropped 20.6% to 69. The number of foreclosures also dropped from December 2009 by about 5%!
