Arlington Virginia Real Estate Inventory Starting to Rebound, Still A Seller’s Market

Active inventory is up almost 30% from January 2013. I know, it sounds like a HUGE jump…but don’t be fooled. That actually only means there are 288 properties for sale (excluding the Coops and the Jefferson Condo which is a 55+ condo community). In January 2014, 130 properties sold for an average 1% price increase. Days on the market fell from 60 to 45, and sellers averaged 95.9% of asking price. We are definitely still in a sellers market.
