Increases across the board for every property type to end the 2012 calendar year in the DC real estate world. For December, average prices were up 14.13%, median was up 9.9%, units were up 12.3% and sellers averaged 97.2% of original list price. Annually, average prices increased 6.67%, median prices increased 8%, and units increased 6.9%. In December, a total of 570 properties sold, of which 37 were either short sales or foreclosures.
