I had a conversation this weekend with my pregnant sister-in-law about how they found the doctor they’re using to help them through the process of delivering my nephew. Her paraphrased explanation: “I Googled the heck out of them.” It got me thinking, with the Internet at your fingertips you should be able to find out everything you want to know about your real estate agent as well as your doctors.
Experience matters – real estate transactions can be tricky things to navigate – it’s not always black or white, there’s a whole lot of gray. When things get tough, whether it’s negotiations over inspection items, a low appraisal, managing a sale in order to purchase, timing of a sale, dealing with tenants, etc. you’re going to want someone on your side who’s been there before and has experience getting you from where you are now to where you want to be in the future.
You can look up my real estate license – when I was licensed and that there are no pending or old complaints about me.
You can read my testimonials or view my LinkedIn profile
Don’t forget – you can always ask an agent about their history, their experiences, ask for client referrals, etc.
p.s. I recently got married and change my name from Rubinchuk to Schwartz. So if you see Laura R Schwartz or Laura Rubinchuk – that’s still me! 🙂
