Washington DC Sees 7% Increase in Median Sales Price for March 2011

Prices increased another 7% over last year last month. A total of 575 units sold in March, of which 15.1% were distressed (29 short sales, 58 foreclosures). Days on the market increased slightly by 3 days over March 2010, while inventory levels are down 22%. Here’s the breakdown by property type, but not by quadrant:
