November Gives Arlington Real Estate A 5% Increase in Value

Another strong month for Arlington County real estate. Median sales prices for the month shows a 5.3% increase over November 2009, while the Year To Date increase is 3.3%. Another good sign of activity: a Year To Date decrease in days on market until sale, down 16.9%. A total of 170 properties sold, of which 6 were short sales and 4 were foreclosures, accounting for 5.8% of sales. That’s beenĀ consistentĀ of late, as Arlington hovers around 6% in distressed sales.
