Huge Price Increases in Arlington Caused by Low Inventory, Pent Up Demand

The real estate market in Arlington right now is starting to resemble that of 2005. Good or bad, the demand is quickly outpacing the available demand. A total of 163 properties sold, of which 61 sold within 10 days of being listed for sale. A total of 15 properties were short sales or foreclosures. The big indication of the craziness: a 9.5% increase in average sale price over February 2012. Sellers averaged 97.2% of original list price.
