DC Real Estate Continues To Climb, Inventory Continues to Fall

Only 39 of the 452 properties sold in DC during January were short sales or foreclosures. Average prices climbed 1%, while the median took a huge leap of 12.3%, fueled by the 40% drop in new inventory. Sellers were averaging 96.4% of original list price.
