DC Metro Real Estate Annual Gains Highest Since 2005

Median prices are up with the highest year-over-year price gain in nearly 7 years. The average sale price in DC increased 7%, while the median rose 11.3%. Inventory levels were down 36% and sellers were averaging 96.7% of list price. There was a 25% increase in the numbers of units sold, which indicates demand in DC is still up.
