Arlington Condo Food Drive
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, don’t forget about our local neighbors who may need some help this holiday season. Try to find a local Food Drive or drop off some food to the Arlington Food Assistance Center.
Things they need:
- 2lb bags of sugar
- 2lb bags of flour
- 8-15oz cooking oil (no glass please)
- Non-perishable food donations (low sugar cereal, low sodium soups, canned tuna and chicken, pasta, etc.)
Volunteers are also needed to help with the Turkey Trot in Lyon Park/Ashton Heights this Thursday at 8am.
Please drop off donations by Saturday, December 17th as they will be distributing items the week of December 19th. Donations can be dropped off at AFAC (2708 S. Nelson Street Arlington, VA 22206) Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm and Saturday from 9am-11am.
