New to the market for sale in 2010, the Townes of Shirlington is a small enclave of 12 boutique townhomes located along Garfield St S, Arlington, VA 22206, just a few blocks away from Shirlington. Built to be both energy efficient and luxurious, units come with 2 assigned parking spaces. For more details on features and floorplans, visit the Townes of Shirlington website.

These are not “brand new” in 2010. They were build several years ago and were rentals after they did not sell originally.

    Mike,

You are completely correct. I wrote this post before I had the opportunity to go visit the site this past weekend. I did learn that they were built in 2006, and they took a suggestion to rent the properties because they couldn’t sell them for the price they wanted. So they are new to the market for sale in 2010, but were not built in 2010.
    Thanks for the correction!

How bad is your property that you can’t sell 12 units in 5 years inside the beltway right off 395? That’s just sad. Other new units in the area are selling without issue.
