Another month of gains for the Arlington, VA real estate market. Up about 5% over August 2010, the median sales price is up 13.5%, while the days on the market remain unchanged at 58. A total of 234 sold in August, of which 11 were short sales and 7 were bank-owned properties. Here are the averages by property type and location:

North Arlington: $341,313 after 41 days

South Arlington: $229,844 after 67 days
Range: $98,035 – $328,000

2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Condos
North Arlington: $555,620 after 37 days
