It’s true among most of Northern Virginia and especially true in Arlington – about 1/3 of the properties that hit the market are sold in the first week, many times with multiple offers.
So far in March we’ve had 22 sales in Arlington sell at or above list, from the total 99 sales. With another week to go in the month, when most of the sales close, I expect to see that number to increase.
