The big story has been the lack of inventory in Arlington over the past few months (and to be honest, inventory is still tight), BUT, October numbers are out and inventory last month was finally higher than in previous months. In fact, about 17% more active listings than last year. Average prices increased 10.14%, units sold was 258 (up about 18%), days on the market averaged only 29, and sellers averaged 98.5% of asking price. Only 6 (about 2%) of the sales were foreclosures or short sales.
