Founded in 1882 by Williams Butler and Henry Holmes, the Arlington VA neighborhood Penrose has grown to about 250 homes bounded by Arlington Blvd, Washington Blvd, Columbia Pike, and S Fillmore St in Arlington, VA 22204. The rich history of the neighborhood has formed into a developed neighborhood just 3 miles from DC and an active Civic Association. There are 3 main parks within the Penrose neighborhood: Penrose Park, Butler Holmes Park, and Towers Park.
