Arlington Market Statistics for April 2011: Condos and Townhomes Gain, While Detached Homes Fall Slightly

There were 217 properties sold in April 2011, of which 8 were short sales and 9 were bank owned, accounting for a 7.8% market share. According to the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors(R) condos saw an average increase of 5% in the average net sale price over April 2010, while townhomes increased by 16% year over year.
